Gaza Emergency Zakat Saves Lives

WHAT YOU GIVE, THEY GET!

The fragile calm in Gaza has shattered. A sudden escalation in conflict has destroyed any hope of rebuilding. Our brothers and sisters in Gaza remain displaced โ€“ their homes in rubble. Living in fear, families are without food, water, medicine or shelter. Hopes for peace have been brokenโ€”yet the need for action has never been greater. MATW Project is still delivering life-saving relief. Despite the incursion, our teams are working tirelessly to support our brothers and sisters in Gaza. Weโ€™re on the ground delivering emergency shelter, food, water, medical supplies and more. Your donation in these last ten nights of Ramadan is critical. $250 can help deliver essentials to medical caregivers to help treat injured patients in Gaza. Time is running out. Lives depend on this. Donโ€™t wait โ€” give like itโ€™s your last Ramadan.

Dua for examination

Dua for Examination: A Powerful Tool for Success

Dua, or supplication, is a fundamental aspect of the Islamic faith. It is a means through which a believer can communicate directly with their Creator, seeking guidance, protection, and blessings. The concept of dua is deeply rooted in the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and it holds immense significance in the lives of Muslims. When it comes to examinations, the act of making dua can be a powerful tool for success, providing comfort and reassurance in times of stress and anxiety.

The importance of dua in Islam cannot be overstated. It is a form of worship, and Allah encourages His servants to seek His help and guidance through supplication. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Nothing can change the Divine Decree except dua” (Sunan Ibn Majah). This hadith highlights the profound impact that dua can have on a person’s life. It is a means through which one can seek Allah’s favor, ask for forgiveness, and seek protection from harm.

When it comes to examinations, the act of making dua can have a calming effect on the mind and heart. It provides a sense of comfort and reassurance, knowing that one is seeking the help of Allah in tackling a challenging task. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever does not ask Allah, He will be angry with him” (Sahih At-Tirmidhi). This emphasizes the importance of constantly turning to Allah in all matters, including seeking success in examinations.

In the context of examinations, there are specific duas that one can recite to seek Allah’s help and assistance. One such dua is:

Arabic:
ุฑู‘ูŽุจู‘ู ุฒูุฏู’ู†ููŠ ุนูู„ู’ู…ู‹ุง
Transliteration:
Rabbi zidnee โ€˜ilman
Translation:
โ€œO my Lord, increase me in knowledge!โ€

It is important to note that the language of the Quran, Arabic, holds great significance in the act of making dua. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “The dua of any one of you will be answered so long as he is not hasty in seeking a response and does not say, ‘I prayed but I have not had a response'” (Sahih Al-Bukhari). Therefore, it is recommended to recite the dua in Arabic, as it is the language of the Quran and holds a special place in the eyes of Allah.

For those who may not be proficient in Arabic, it is also permissible to recite the dua in transliteration or translation. This allows individuals who may not be familiar with the Arabic language to still connect with the words and essence of the supplication.

The act of making dua for success in examinations is a powerful tool for believers. It provides a source of comfort and reassurance, allowing individuals to seek the help and guidance of Allah in tackling challenging tasks.

Furthermore, it is important to remember that sincere intention and righteous actions can also contribute to the fulfillment of one’s dua. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Charity does not decrease wealth” (Sahih Muslim). By giving charity with sincere intention, one can hope to earn the favor and blessings of Allah, which can in turn help grant them success in their examinations.

By combining the act of making dua with sincere actions, believers can find solace in the knowledge that Allah is the ultimate source of help and support.
