Bangladesh Cyclone Appeal

More than 1,000,000 people have been evacuated and more than 10,000 homes were damaged or destroyed.

Cyclone Sitrang has devastated Bangladesh, tearing through Cox’s Bazaar, one of the largest refugee camps in the world, and destroying thousands of homes.
The cyclone has triggered heavy rain and flooding in many areas including Dhaka, forcing 1,000,000 people to evacuate.
Our MATW team is on the ground in Bangladesh mobilizing a response in coordination with our operations across the country. We need your help delivering urgent aid to families in need to help them recover from this devastation.
The Prophet SAW said “Whoever would love to be shaded in the shade of Allah, let him help someone in hardship”

MATW has been working on the ground in Bangladesh for more than two years responding to natural disasters, caring for thousands of orphans, providing access to medical care for vulnerable and underprivileged families, building water wells, and more.

The cyclone may have come and gone, but the aftermath of such a disaster pushes families further into a life of poverty if they have to start again once more. Your support could make a world of difference. Every donation counts.
